The human cell contains a different enzyme known as bet-glucosidase, which degrades the B17 into glucose, hydrocyanic acid and benzaldehyde. The hydrocyanic acid works like LTTE cyanide capsule, destroying the cancer cells.

Once the vitamin B17 unites with a normal cell enzyme it degrades into three sugars, but when it unites with cancer cell enzyme it degrades into 1 sugar, 1 benzaldehyde and 1 hydrocyanic acid. The hydrocyanic acid destroys the cancer cell locally.
